Testimonials
Being diagnosed with Cancer is scary and hard especially if you're doing it on your own.

Joining the group has saved my sanity, I've made many friends who understand that I'm still scared, we have fun and laughter, and we give hugs when needed.

I know if I'm having a bad Cancer day or need a cry. There will be no judgment just caring and loving people.

“After diagnosis, I needed support that Macmillan couldn't offer, I found that in this group, with the companionship and camaraderie of all the group members. Thank you all so much for making me feel the spark of hope again."

                                                               Jette

“I had Bowel Cancer, and after months of Chemo I needed other people to speak to who understood, not just for me but also for my husband, the group has given support and encouragement in a difficult time.”

                                                        Hazel

Spending time with like-minded people and enjoying a good laugh once a month is fantastic, and then going out as a group during the month is great.

“The group is friendly and welcoming, and the meetings are varied with quizzes, speakers and time to chat. I’ve enjoyed meeting new people and it is reassuring to know that others have had similar experiences to me."
